What opportunities will this course give me?
This accreditation is for those people who have not achieved a level 3 certificate who wish to become MOT Testers. Once achieved they can then go on to take the L2 MOT tester course.
What will I be learning?
IMI Accreditation is a practical, non-academic way to demonstrate individual capability, providing independent proof of current competence, knowledge and skills.
Accreditation typically takes one day to achieve, with individuals assessed against industry-agreed standards.
Why is this course for me?
This course consists of two on-line tests and 5 practical assessments.
Emission systems-Inspection (AOM71).
Electrical Systems-Inspections (AOM72).
Braking Systems-Inspections (AOM73).
Steering & Suspension Systems-Inspections (AOM74).
Vehicle Structure-Inspection* (Knowledge only assessment 10 online questions) AOM75. Vehicle appraisal-Inspection (AOM76).
What do I need to sign up?
To be eligible to undertake this qualification a learner must:
1). Have a current and full UK driving licence
2). Must be able to work unsupervised and they should be in full time employment with at least three years experience to ensure they are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspections and systems diagnosis
