What opportunities will this course give me?
Learners can achieve a certificate (s) at Entry Level 1, 2 or 3. Exams take place at different times during the year. Progression is to higher level ESOL or vocational courses.
What will I be learning?
The focus of this course is on improving your reading and writing skills. This will include work on spelling, sentence structure and reading/producing short texts - egg basic letters or emails.
Why is this course for me?
A mixture of classroom study, homework and independent learning. This is a 30- 32 week course.
What do I need to sign up?
Students can join the class any time until the beginning of the summer term. New students need to book a free ESOL assessment through Reception (023 8091 1000) to decide the best class for you.
Is there anything else I need to know?
This course is suitable for learners who wish to develop their reading and writing skills in English. It is also intended to help people whose reading and writing skills are at a lower level than their speaking skills. The course will help them learn the language they need for living and working in the UK.
