What career opportunities can this lead to?

On completion of this qualification you will require to gain access to the electrical installation or maintenance industry to enable moving onto the NVQ level 3 Diploma in installing electrotechnical systems or maintenance. In addition to this you will require to complete a 'Bridging unit'.

What are the entry requirements?

Completion of the Level 2 Diploma in electrical installation (Building and structures).

What does this programme involve?

This route is aimed at persons not currently in the electrical industry but are wishing to gain entry and work towards becoming a qualified electrician.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

Delivery is 1 day per week for one academic year. Assessment is via on-line and written exams, written and practical assignments.

What else do I need to know?

Steel toe-capped foot-wear is required for the workshop.
