What are the entry requirements?

The students need no prior qualifications but will need to pass an aptitude test interview before being offered a place on the course.

What does this programme involve?

These qualifications are intended for those who want to gain the knowledge and abilities that will enable you to gain the underlying knowledge to progress onto an Electrotechnical Apprenticeship Programme or to the Level 3 2365 course

The Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need.

The Level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 2 qualification. The course is assessed by means of online exams, written assessments and practical assessments.

How is the programme taught and assessed?

The course is taught 1 day a week for 2 years

What else do I need to know?

This course is suitable for those learners who wish to be become electricians but are not employed in the industry.

Steel toe-capped footwear is required for the workshop.
