What opportunities will this course give me?

Satisfactory completion of this 2 year course will allow access to the Level 3 course. On completion of both the level 2 and 3 and if criteria is met then you could progress onto the NVQ

What will I be learning?

These qualifications are intended for those who want to gain the knowledge and abilities that will enable you to gain the underlying knowledge to progress onto an Electrotechnical Apprenticeship Programme or to the Level 3 2365 course

The Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need.

The Level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 2 qualification. The course is assessed by means of online exams, written assessments and practical assessments.

Why is this course for me?

The level 2 course is taught 1 day a week for 1 year and two terms
The Level 3 Course is taught for 1 term and 1 year with self directed study required

What do I need to sign up?

The students need no prior qualifications but will need to pass an aptitude test, including an initial Maths assessment, and have an interview before being offered a place on the course.

Is there anything else I need to know?

This course is suitable for those learners who wish to be become electricians but are not employed in the industry.

Gloves and Steel toe-capped footwear are required for the workshop.
