What opportunities will this course give me?

Employment opportunities can be found in a wide range of hospitality & catering environments such as hotels, restaurants and coffee shops. This qualification will give you the understanding and confidence to act in the role of Barista.

What will I be learning?

This qualification is delivered over 3 separate days and is a mixture of both practical and theorectical learning. Practical element will be based around using the Barista coffe machine to prepare a variety of beaverages. There will also be some time spent producing a variety of non-coffee based drinks. There will also be time spent on the theoretical aspects of the Barista role and the use of the equipment.

Why is this course for me?

You will learn through a mixture of lectures and practical work. You will also need to undertake some private study between sessions in order to re-enforce the theory and to revise.

What do I need to sign up?

No experience or qualifications are required, just enthusiasm and the willingness and interest to learn a new skill in a fast growing industry.

Is there anything else I need to know?

This Level 2 qualification is for people who wish to work in a coffee shop based environment. This course will prepare you to use professional coffee machines in a professional, qualified manner and allow you to gain the skills that will enable you to play a role in this growing industry.
