What will I be learning?

The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), is a knowledge-based qualification developed by APM, the chartered body for the project profession. Candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these elements interact and how their project fits into their strategic and commercial environment. PMQ is an internationally recognised qualification.

The PMQ, formerly known as APMP, syllabus assesses breadth of knowledge in all areas of project management and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge, including budgeting and cost management, conflict management, communication, earned value management, leadership, negotiation, procurement, sponsorship and teamwork.

Why is this course for me?

The APM Project Management Qualification is aimed at those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. Applicants typically have some pre-existing project management knowledge, and it is the ideal next step for anyone holding the APM Project Fundamentals (PFQ) qualification.

How will my learning be enhanced?

The on-programme learning will be driven by you and the breadth of your current knowledge. Your learning, development and progress will be monitored to ensure you are gaining the knowledge required for the qualification.

Our team of professionals will deliver the training with a blended approach to enhance your knowledge to include:

• Two nights a week ONLINE CLASSES
• Online access to our digital delivery platforms
• Directed study with remote delivery support

Is there anything else I need to know?

You will be provided with the APM Project Management Qualification study guide book which is integral to supporting you with your exam.

At the end of the 6 weeks you will complete a 3 hour online exam to achieve the qualification.
