There is a business administration element to every employment sector, which means that business administrators have a variety of options regarding which sector they work in.
Intermediate apprentices, with support and opportunities in the workplace, can progress onto the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration; or onto other Advanced Apprenticeships such as the Advanced Apprenticeship in Management or the Advanced Apprenticeship in Procurement. With additional training, intermediate apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to roles including Administration Executive, Administration Team Leader, Office Supervisor, Personal Assistant, Secretary or a wide range of other business administration roles.
You will need to have relevant employment as well as 3 GCSEs at grade D / 3 or higher, which include English and maths or have achieved a relevant Level 1 qualification* or have relevant experience* and be able to demonstrate ability equivalent to, or exceeding Level 1 in English and maths.
