What are Technical and Professional courses?

Technical and Professional courses are different to A-levels because they combine theoretical learning with practical skills. They have been developed in partnership with employers in order to ensure that you learn the skills that are relevant for their industry. In these competitive times, having practical experience behind you can give you the edge in your job search.

What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships combine paid employment with recognised accredited learning tailored to specific job roles. An apprentice will have a job and also be studying towards the relevant qualifications for that Apprenticeship, which includes functional skills in maths, English and in some cases IT. An apprenticeship is a way for young people and adult learners to earn while they learn in a real job, gaining a real qualification and a real future.

Did you know - Apprentices can earn up to 270% more than a University graduate? Find out more

Are you interested in an Apprenticeship, but are yet to find an employer?

If you want to apply for an Apprenticeship then it's not too late! You can still apply whilst studying an equivalent full-time course with us, and then switch to your Apprenticeship once you have found an employer.
