Apprenticeships are a type of qualification which combines learning in the workplace, with structured training. Unlike fully workplace-based Apprenticeships, this type of Apprenticeship provides a combination of on-and-off-the-job training and assessment, and is managed by Eastleigh College Training Agency (ECTA), as apposed to an individual assessor. Each apprentice is assigned a Training Advisor who monitors and supports the apprentice and is also the primary point of contact to your employer. This option typically requires attendance at college for one day per week (term time only) but for some types of Apprenticeship, a block release attendance option is available.

Whilst the majority of Apprenticeships delivered in this way commence in September, for some types of Apprenticeship we are also able to offer starts at other times of the year.

Unlike the fully workplaced-based Apprenticeships, this option is best suited to the development of an individual who is new to their current industry, or has had a significant role shift within their industry.
