Students would be able to progress on to French Beginners course.
What will I be learning?
Topics covered in Holiday French include basic greetings, ordering food and drinks, and asking for and giving directions.
You will also learn everyday things such as saying where you come from and what your job is. You will also be able to tell the time and recognise numbers 1 to 100.
You will gain the confidence to speak French whilst on holiday.
A College Certificate will be awarded on request.
Why is this course for me?
Students will be taught through dialogue primarily, though there will also be reading and writing tasks and handouts.
What do I need to sign up?
There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course.
Is there anything else I need to know?
This course is suitable for anyone wishing to learn basic French which may be used on a trip to France or other French speaking countries.
Students will be responsible for the purchase of materials relevant to course. If books/materials are required you will be advised at the first class.
Please bring a note book and pen to all classes.
