Learn to personalise your projects on this fun two hour workshop. You will learn how use simple brush lettering techniques to create different craft projects.

What will I be learning?
You will be taught how to create calligraphic style writing using brush pens. You will learn how to change the pressure of your application to create different thicknesses of lettering. Starting with the alphabet, you will be taught how to form letters which can be used on a variety of projects such as wedding stationery, lettering craft projects, gift wrapping and labels.
Learners will be shown how to be comfortable with their tools, materials, and lettering, and building confidence to develop a calligraphic composition.
Why is this course for me?
This course is ideal for beginners and craft enthusiasts wishing to learn new skills.
The tutor will be there to help you every step of the way through demonstration, guided practice and support, and there will be practice sheets to follow.
Whilst you will not gain a professional qualification on this workshop, this is a great way to try something new as a taster session. There will be plenty of opportunity to explore and be creative with your materials, learning in an environment with other enthusiastic and like-minded individuals.
How will my learning be enhanced?
You will be supported by a qualified tutor who will help you learn the skills to create beautiful brush lettering. Your tutor will be both friendly and accommodating, ensuring your experience on the course is stimulating and stress-free.
The workshop has planned Q&A, discussions and one to one support.
What do I need to sign up?
No previous experience is required and the workshop is suitable for complete beginners aged 18 and over.
Please bring reading glasses (if required) to the workshop.
Is there anything else I need to know?
All materials will be supplied as part of the workshop and there are no costs anticipated.
You will be able to take your brush lettering pen set away with you at the end of the workshop which will enable you to continue to create wonderful projects at home.
