Coronavirus Update

Eastleigh College has moved to online learning, as such campuses are closed to the vast majority of learners. The College remains open (including over the Easter holiday period) for 16-18 learners of key workers, and those learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). However, for both categories, learners are asked to stay at home where it is safe to do so. Consistent with public health advice, learners and staff are asked to follow public health guidance and the steps outlined via the 'read more' button.

Redevelopment project progress

The development of our new teaching block on Chestnut Avenue is making great progress, with the frame now complete including the steel frame which forms part of the top floor structure.
We’re currently working with designers to bring together the interior décor for the new building, including rebranding our current Hair and Beauty Salon, Essence. We will be releasing further details of this soon, so watch this space! The building will include brand new facilities for Hair and Beauty students, in addition to classrooms and new equipment for Art, Design and Media.
Planning permission has also been granted for the new Advanced Technology Centre, which will be located on the Chestnut Avenue campus. This building will accommodate facilities in subjects including Computer Science, Professional Construction, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Building Energy Management Systems, and higher-level Engineering. The vision for the building is to provide an educational experience closely aligned to industry standards, with specialist areas including a CAD suite with 3D printing, BEMS equipped electronics workshop and an IT networking laboratory.
Please keep checking our website and social media for further updates and the project progresses. Here's a look at how far we've come since works started in September last year:
