Coronavirus Update

Eastleigh College has moved to online learning, as such campuses are closed to the vast majority of learners. The College remains open (including over the Easter holiday period) for 16-18 learners of key workers, and those learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). However, for both categories, learners are asked to stay at home where it is safe to do so. Consistent with public health advice, learners and staff are asked to follow public health guidance and the steps outlined via the 'read more' button.

New teaching building on-target for September

It's only a few months now until we reveal our exciting new teaching block, complete with a re-branded Hair & Beauty Salon and new art studios. For a few weeks now the external appearance of the building seems to have changed very little, thanks to the safety netting concealing our view, but the inside is coming along well and it won't be long before the netting can come down and reveal the finished product!
During the months of September and October, the building will be kitted-out with all the latest equipment, including 36 Mac computers and 54 PCs. Students and staff hope to start moving into the building in November this year.
We have also started work on the steels for the new Advanced Technology Centre, due to be completed in September 2017. The building will accommodate subjects areas such as high-level engineering, computer science, electrical and professional construction, offering student the opportunity to use industry equipment and software.
Here's a look at our progress over the last few weeks:
The steels for our new Advanced Technology Centre are already in place.
