This year we are excited to welcome over 750 new students to the College, which meant our corridors were bustling this week full of classes visiting our Fresher’s Fair!
Among stacks of free Dominoes pizza and candy floss, we had exhibitors from the NHS, Solent Go, No Limits, Young Epilepsy, Subway, NCS and more. Some students even took the opportunity to kit-up in a Sumo Suit and see which of their friends they could beat.
We also welcomed the University of Winchester, the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University, who spoke to our students about the undergraduate degrees they could progress on to.
We’ve had lots of brilliant entries into our photo competition – keep posting your photos to Instagram with the hashtag #eastleighfreshers, as next week we will be picking a winner at random who will receive a brand new iPad mini!
Eastleigh College is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Cox as its next Chief Executive and Principal, following the retirement of Dr Jan Edrich in September 2020.
Learners, staff, governors and representatives from business and industry joined together to celebrate at Eastleigh College’s annual awards ceremony at Eastleigh Football Stadium. The annual event, which was organised by our Event Management students, recognised the talents of staff, students and employers for their exceptional work during the last academic year.
