College festivities raise £460 for charity!
Eastleigh College recently hosted a festive Christmas Fayre and Christmas Jumper Day, which in total raised a fantastic £460 for charity! All funds raised will be donated to the chosen college charities, Macmillan Nurses, Alzheimer’s Research UK and the Salvation Army.
The Christmas Fayre included a variety of Christmas attractions, from stalls brimming with handmade Christmas gifts and homemade cakes to a mobile farm courtesy of Long Down Dairy Farm! The evening also featured performances from Eastleigh College Dance students, and a Santa’s Grotto where children could meet Santa.
The event was organised by the College’s Event Management students as part of their assessment projects, and overall the students were really proud of what they achieved.
Students and staff from Eastleigh College also donned their Christmas jumpers, hats, tinsel, flashing lights and face paint on the day to help raise money for the chosen charities.
Merry Christmas from everyone at Eastleigh College!
