We opened the doors of East Avenue yesterday lunchtime to welcome an array of guests to try our brand new three-course menu in our newly refurbished restaurant.

Yesterday our Hospitality and Catering students welcomed Caroline Benjamin from the Food Allergy Training Consultancy, who talked to the students about food allergies and intolerance.
Whisking up excitement for WorldSkills UK finals
Hospitality and Catering student, Ashesh Purja, is through to the next round of WorldSkills UK! Ashesh recently competed at the UK finals in Colchester, where he was awarded a Gold medal and the chance to compete at the Skills Show in November.

Accountancy students secure Apprenticeships in industry
Two of our AAT Level 2 Accounting students have worked hard to secure jobs in industry this year. Ben Hughes and Humza Ahmed both impressed their employers during a work experience placement, and have now been offered permanent positions.
