We are recruiting for an ambitious, professional, resilient and respectful:

Trainer in Plumbing

Salary of up to £28,878 per annum, up to £35,716 per annum if accessing full flexible pay options.

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Duties:

  • Assist in providing an effective responsive support for learner’s on apprenticeships ensuring they remain on track.
  • Undertaking onsite assessments to ensure learners are receiving the necessary skills and experience.
  • Undertaking review with the learners and employer to support the learner on their learning journey.
  • Checking learner’s competence against industry standards to enable them to gain their qualification.

Skills/experience:

  • Highly motivated Plumber – with a range of industry experience.
  • Either teaching experience or have supported apprentices in the work place.
  • Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or C&G craft/advanced craft in related subject.
  • ACS qualification.
  • Assessors award or willingness to work towards.
  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work towards teaching qualification / or to hold a teaching qualification.
