LECTURER IN SPORT  

Salary: Up to £23.54 per hour for unqualified and

             Up to £34.53 for hour qualified

Hours: approx. 6 hours per week – potential to increase to 12.5 per week

The College is seeking to appoint a sessional Lecturer post within Sport to work in the Professional Studies Faculty.       

You will be a well organised and effective individual with experience in the area Sport, including experience in a teaching environment. We are looking for someone with an energy and passion for Sport who is able to work at level 2 and 3, experience in the of delivery vocational qualifications an advantage.

As a Lecturer in Sport you will need to have expertise and experience in fitness training, sports nutrition, anatomy and physiology.

You should also have a broad knowledge of the Sport and Active leisure sector. This post will require you to work in both practical and theoretical environments.

A Sports related Degree, with a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent), is required
