We are recruiting for an ambitious, professional, resilient and respectful:
Lecturer in Public Services
Salary: Up to £43,185 pro rata under the College’s sector leading flexible work, holiday and pay policy.
Hours: 37 per week, 52 weeks per year.

Duties:
- You will need to be organised and prepared to take on responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment of units as well as taking on a pastoral support role of a Tutor.
- You will be required to conduct interviews for new students during the year as well as participate in open events that are put on within the college throughout the year.
- Teach on courses and work to develop an outstanding provision that has a positive impact on the learner and assessment process.
- To assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and maintaining records to monitor learner progression, achievement and attendance.
Skills/experience:
- Highly motivated Uniformed Services individual with a range of industry experience.
- Experience and expertise within one of the uniformed or emergency services.
- Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills.
- Experience of working with young people in an instructing or leadership role and evidence of being able to work independently.
- Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards teaching qualification / or to hold a teaching qualification.
