Hours: Sessional (0.2 FTE)   

Salary: £21.99 – 34.19 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Eastleigh College is looking for a sessional lecturer to join the English department and teach GCSE and Functional Skills English to a variety of courses across the College’s vocational learning areas. This role will require you to have excellent communication and organisational skills to develop the potential of students who are studying on English courses.  You will have experience of teaching GCSE and or Functional Skills English. You will be involved in cross College co-ordination and quality control activities and will also provide advice and guidance to tutors within the vocational learning areas.

You will teach students in the 16-19 age group who are undertaking full-time vocational courses and Apprenticeships, as well as part-time 19+ students who are looking to improve their English skills.  This may include teaching an evening class.

We are looking for a lecturer with a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent), however full training can be offered to achieve qualified teacher status.
