LECTURER IN COUNSELLING AND HE COURSE COORDINATOR

Hours: Variable posts available ranging from hourly paid to fractionate posts of 0.4-0.8

Salary: Unqualified teacher status up to £23,561 per annum / pro rata (sessional rate up to £23.30 per hour)

             Qualified teacher status up to £34,571 per annum / pro rata (sessional rate up to £34.19 per hour)

Eastleigh College are looking to recruit a counselling lecturer to join an experienced and successful team. As a Lecturer in Counselling you will deliver a Humanistic Gestalt Diploma in Counselling (level 4 and 5), Level 3 Counselling courses or the Basics of Counselling.

It is essential that you are currently working with clients and have a Humanistic approach with good knowledge of Gestalt and ideally Pluralistic approaches. We are seeking those looking to enter into teaching profession and develop their skills and experience in this area. Training and support will be available to develop teaching expertise.

The role will require flexible working with some evening sessions. You will need to have a commitment to high academic standards, excellent student support, and understand the wider aspects related to managing academic courses and supporting learners.  You will continue to develop your own ongoing personal and professional development.
