Engagement and Learner Recruitment Executive

Salary: £21,233 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Full-Time/Permanent

A day in the life of…..

A day in the life of an Engagement and Learner Recruitment Executive at the College is fun, challenging, collaborative, inspiring and rewarding. Every day is different, which is one of the best things about the role.

You will be working with a variety of learners across all industries and sectors, with knowledge and experience in providing a “single application process” for all learners whether they are a school leaver, an adult learner, interested in higher education, online learning or an apprenticeship.

You will also provide advice and guidance for businesses whether they are seeking new talent, maximising recently recruited talent or developing future managers or preparing succession plans for their senior management team. This is an exciting opportunity, working with our Account Manager, to develop innovative delivery models in partnership with employers and help them to extend their recruitment pathways.

Experience of working with employers to advise on government funding solutions including the apprenticeship levy would be an advantage.

As part of the wider department that leads on recruitment and growth, you will report to the Engagement and Learner Recruitment Manager.

Skills/experience required:

  • Working successfully with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and influence a diverse range of people.
  • A creative and innovative approach that combines sales and customer service methods.
  • The ability to work with a high level of autonomy, including the ability to simultaneously work on a high volume of priorities.
  • Experience/knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.

Qualifications required:

  • Level 3 or above in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service or a related Level 3 qualification.
  • GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Degree (desirable).

Ideal attributes of applicant:

  • Comfortable talking and engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, enthusiastic and has a keen interest in customer service.
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development.
