Adult Community Learning Tutor
Salary: Up to £43.53ph under the College’s sector leading flexible work, holiday and pay policy.
Hours: Sessional.

- Antique Furniture Restoration Tutor
- Arts & Crafts Tutor
- Cake Baking & Decorating Tutor
- Computing for Beginners Tutor
- Patchwork & Quilting Tutor
- Upholstery Tutor
- Woodworking/Carpentry Tutor
Duties:
- As part of our sessional tutors’ team, you will prepare and provide quality guided tuition to a range of adult learners.
- Setting up room and facilities appropriately to enable effective learning environment.
- Ensure the class encompasses a fun, informative and engaging approach to ensure learners’ continued attendance.
- You should be confident in your ability to teach your skills t adults with a wide range of abilities.
Skills/experience:
- Highly motivated Tutor – with a range of industry experience.
- Relevant experience to deliver the topic.
- Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications for the topic to be delivered.
- Willingness to work towards other qualifications as necessary.
