Our Summer Fair will be packed with lots of family entertainment such as live performances, food and gift stalls, family fun and much more! It will also give you the opportunity to meet our lecturers, explore our industry standard facilities, discover our range of courses and see how we are creating better futures.


Our Summer Fair offers you the perfect opportunity to experience what our fantastic Adult Community Learning team have to offer. You are warmly welcomed to drop into any of the sessions that will be held on the day – please note that ‘Relax and Stretch Yoga’ sessions require a separate booked ticket, which can be done via this Eventbrite page.


Hair Cutting - Come along to find out about what the industry of hair looks like at a glance. Our wonderful tutor is here on hand to tell you all about our hair courses we have here at the college with demonstrations of hair cutting techniques. Find out where haircutting can take you in your future.


Relax and Stretch Yoga - The aim of this workshop is to have a healthy, supple body and a calm mind. You will learn the art of breathing deeply, doing yoga postures and stretched to your own level, and learning to relax. You will need comfortable clothing, a small towel, and a water bottle. Feel free to bring a mat if you have one.


Jewellery Making Dangle Earrings - Come along to this wonderful drop in session of wire dangle earring jewellery making where you can make yourself a beautiful pair of earrings for any occasion, learn some new techniques and skills, and have something beautiful to take home. In our short introductory workshop, you will choose from a selection of charms and wire to create your own unique designs, whilst exploring some of the skills and tools required for making jewellery.


French - Come along to this fun and interactive workshop and learn some basic French skills. We have some fun French games to introduce you to the language. Learn how to use some basic phrases to help you communicate with the locals of France to make any encounter smooth.


Flower Crown Making - Come along and make some beautiful flower crowns this Spring ready for the summer just around the corner. With brightly coloured flowers and wonderful foliage, you can make a flower crown for any event coming up.


Computing for Beginners - If you lack confidence using the internet or would like to learn some basic computing skills, this Computing for Beginners course could be perfect for you. We will gently introduce you to the essentials of keeping safe online, cover popular software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and improve your internet skills. You will become more confident when using a computer.
