Waxing for Charity!
Hair and Beauty students at Eastleigh College did their bit for Children in Need this week by dressing up in fancy dress costumes and then charging fellow students and lecturers to have their legs and chests waxed!
Throughout the week the students came into their lessons and salon appointments dressed in their pyjamas or fancy dress, and collected donations from clients, staff and fellow students. The week culminated in a mass waxing session on Friday, where willing participants were waxed for a small fee. Friends of the 'waxees' were allowed to watch the torture only if they too contributed to the fundraising pot.
The fun fundraising really paid off as the students managed to raise over £500 for the worthy charity!
