School pupils from across the region attended Eastleigh College's largest open event for full-time courses this week. The evenings were a huge success with a great turnout by potential pupils and their parents. Years 10 and 11 school pupils were treated to an array of activities including live dance performances, cookery demonstrations, skin testing, interactive baby dolls, canapés made and served by the catering students and fitness testing by the Sports students. Pupils and their families were able to see the brand new facilities, talk to tutors, take part in activities and find out more about the range of courses on offer.

Presentations, exhibitions and activities offered potential students a taste of what they could experience at the College.

Schools Liaison Officer, Karen Wyeth, commented
'The feedback we received on the evenings from both potential students and their parents was extremely positive. College students have also had the opportunity to showcase their talents and be involved in the event, contributing to the overall success of the evenings.'

The College's next Open Evening is on Tuesday 27th January 2009.
