Eastleigh College students celebrated their fresher's fayre last week with hundreds of students converging on the main campus for an afternoon of fun and festivities.

New students to the college had the opportunity to get to know each other through an array of social activities including human table football, surf simulations and a Velcro wall to name but a few.

Exhibitions throughout the campus offered students a taste of the extra curricular activities on offer at the college, while existing students had the opportunity to talk to a wide range of universities and careers advisors about their next step.

Another of the events main attractions was a dance performance by Eastleigh College's second year performing arts student. The dynamic piece titled 'Stronger' attracted large audiences and much student praise.

'Everyone has enjoyed the festivities today and we hope that they have made new friends as well' commented Lou Gittens, Head of Division and Fayre Organiser. 'Students have had the opportunity to see what else the college offers and we hope they embrace the activities over the next two years of study'.
