National Apprenticeship Week 2012
Eastleigh College is supporting National Apprenticeships Week,
taking place this week, from Monday 6 February to Friday 10
February 2012. As part of this week, the College will be engaged in
the following activities:
Scrapheap Challenge II 'It's all Uphill' - Eastleigh College,
Wednesday 8 February 2012
Scrapheap Challenge II 'It's all Uphill' is inspired by popular Television Series 'Scrapheap Challenge'. Eastleigh College's Apprenticeship teams will be set a given challenge and then spend their allotted time working as a team to deploy a range of problem solving activities to meet the challenge.
ALPHI 'Have a Go' Apprenticeship Event - Southampton Rosebowl,
Wednesday 8 February 2012 5-7pm
The Apprenticeship Recruitment event is designed for young people and parents to come along and find out all they have always wanted to know about Apprenticeships and the requirements of real employers. Employers, providers and apprentices will be on hand to talk about the benefits of Apprenticeships and answer any questions. Apprentices will be showcasing their skills and young people and their parents will have the opportunity to 'have a go' at some hands on activities.
Eastleigh College staff will be on-hand to provide information
about the wide range of Apprenticeships that we offer. Come and
visit us at our stand!
