NEWS & EVENTS

Twenty six Counselling Diploma (DipHE) and Counselling BA (Honours) students celebrated graduating from their courses this week, with nearly all receiving a distinction or first-class honours.
The Eastleigh College Higher Education students have been reading their chosen counselling courses through part-time study at the College, for which both courses are validated by the University of Winchester. The hard work paid off with all students graduating successfully.
Wendy Jenkins gained a first -class honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Counselling
and said:
"I've enjoyed the course and although it's been a tough year, it has been very
rewarding. For me this is a starting block for a future in Counselling."
Ali Bridewell also graduated from Eastleigh College with a first-class degree and
said:
"It's been a really good course with some interesting modules. I did this qualification
as a top-up to the Diploma qualification that I had already undertaken. This is a great foundation for me as I hope to go into Chaplaincy, using everything I've from this course in my future career.
A new intake of students will be starting these courses in January 2012. This will be the final opportunity for students to avoid the impending government fee increases which are due later in the year. For those wanting more information on undertaking either of these courses in January, please call 023 8064 8743 or email cranbury@eastleigh.ac.uk.
