Apprenticeships - Eastleigh College Training Agency (ECTA)
Through the successful delivery of our original Apprenticeships, ECTA now offer an extended range including, AAT (accounts and payroll), Automotive, Business Administration, Construction, Customer Service, Dental Nursing, Electrical, Engineering, Hairdressing, Nail Technicians, Plumbing & Gas, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, Sport, and new this year; Health & Social Care and Building Maintenance.
ECTA work with local and regional employers, with apprentices from all area’s attending training at college. As a fully established training agency, we support both the employer and apprentice, providing guidance and support throughout the course.
We can advertise your apprenticeship vacancies for FREE on the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website www.apprenticeships.org, College web site and internal notice boards. This simplifies the process of recruiting an Apprentice through our agency. We assess and interview all our candidates before recommending them to employers.
We can also arrange for employers to meet and interview apprentices, either in College or at your premises. Our apprentices are of the highest quality and have successfully passed our assessment processes to demonstrate suitability.
A number of available applicants have already completed parts of their programme as full-time students (in certain trades) and their practical skills and knowledge will be more advanced than those totally new to an Apprenticeship scheme. These skills allow apprentices to complete the full framework in a shorter period of time.
