Training Support
Apprenticeships
All apprentices are assigned a Training Advisor from the College who will monitor the progress of the apprentice and liaise with the employer to ensure the training and support delivered is sufficient to achieve the qualification.
In addition, our apprentices have access to our student support services. For more information on the services available, please click here or contact the student support team directly on 023 8091 1228 or email us at studentsupportservices@eastleigh.ac.uk.
Workplace NVQs
Learners undertaking workplace NVQs will be monitored by an assessor, who can also deliver training and support when required.
The College can provide training support for employers and employees through Skills for Life, the national strategy for improving adult literacy and numeracy skills. Employees who do not possess a Level 2 qualification in English and/or Maths are eligible for Skills for Life training. This can be delivered in the workplace free of charge to entitled employees.
Skills for Life has a positive impact on a business through increased productivity, reduced absenteeism, improved customer relations and improved workforce skill levels. It will also contribute to accreditations such as the Investors in People award.
Who can be part of this?
Any employer who has employees who do not currently have a Level 2 qualification (GCSE at grade A* - C) in English or Maths.
