Eastleigh College has been recognised by the Government as one of the best organisations in the country at delivering training solutions for employers, by being awarded the Training Quality Standard.

Launched by the Learning and Skills Council in 2007, the Training Quality Standard has been designed to reflect employers' priorities and expectations in sourcing training and development solutions. The award is tough to achieve, and is held by only a select group of organisations. The certification for the Standard is an endorsement of the high quality of work and good practice Eastleigh College is already undertaking with over 1400 employers, and of the College's ethos in developing a culture of delivering excellence.

College House, a unique residential facility linked to Eastleigh College, has been assessed in 2011 as an Outstanding provision by Ofsted across all four key areas; Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Organisation and Every Child Matters.

After holding the Charter Mark for customer excellence awarded by the Cabinet Office for the past 10 years, College House has recently been assessed for the award of the Customer Service Excellence Standard. The Standard consists of 57 separate criterion which are grouped under the following 5 standards:

• Customer insight
• The culture of the organisation
• Information and access
• Delivery
• Timeliness and quality of service

The overall assessment is rated as 'Strong' and the assessor stated in his report:

'This is a highly customer centric service that has exceptional outcomes for a group of vulnerable young people. It listens to its customers and works with them to achieve life skills that enable more independent living.' 

Following the most recent inspection at the College in 2006, the overall grading from Ofsted is 'Good'. Ofsted have also graded us as outstanding for the following criteria:

• Meeting the interests and needs of our learners
• The range of provision on offer
• Student progression

In 2010, Eastleigh College proudly became the first college in Hampshire to be awarded the Investors in Diversity standard, in recognition of the continued commitment it has shown to promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity.

We are proud to meet the Investors in People Silver standard and are constantly thriving to develop and improve.

In 2011 Eastleigh College was successfully accredited with the new Investors in People Health & Wellbeing Award.

In 2011, Eastleigh College was delighted to be ranked as in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work in the Public and Charity Sector.

In 2012, Eastleigh College was awarded 'One Star Status' by Best Companies Ltd, one of only 515 organisations in the country (across all sectors) to achieve Star Status success.
